I posted two days ago regarding an official LUT from DJI, so far they have said they are working on it. So, I created one. Check out the test grade done with it!

To speak specifically, the LUT was created, applied, and then tweaked which resulted in the darker blacks and high contrast. Mauro's video looks fantastic, but I would shy away from any LUT that stylizes the image too much. His LUT is more of a finished look, whereas I am aiming for a neutral one to work off of. I'm going to continue to tweak my LUT a bit before I upload.

I specifically want to ensure the colors look as Arri-like as possible, without the condensed dynamic range, desaturated colors, and increased red channel that Mauro's LUT has. The issue is only the engineers can produce a proper LUT as only they know the gamma table and so on.

Every 3rd party LUT is basically a 'creative layer' as opposed to a starting point. That's not to say they aren't good - it simply means they arent the perfect starting point for an unedited, raw footage. (And obviously, even 3rd party ones really need to be made with a colour checker etc) Absolutely agreed, which is why I was terribly concerned when they didn't launch with a LUT! This LUT however should be fairly close, assuming it is similar to their latest X7 Dlog which uses a Cineon-like gamma curve. Just got my Mavic 2 Pro, haven't been able to fly it yet. Hopefully some Color Checker tweaking is in the future!
