Microsoft Monthview Control Missing 2010

I have an Excel spreadsheet with a user form that uses the calendar control. It works fine on my machine, but others can't use it because they are missing the mscomct2.ocx file. I found where to download it (), but it comes down as a cab file, and I'm not sure how to tell others to use that file. My internet searches point to a variety of solutions from copying it to the system32 file to registering it using regsrv32.

I was hoping somebody here could give me layman's instructions, as I hate to ask these other users to try five different things.

Calendar control is removed in Access 2010 and is not usable for Excel 2010. Instead, users can use Date Picker or their own custom calendar controls. Hi Guy, Your findings are correct with MS Office 2010, the Calendar Control is no longer available. Just right-click a cell outside the table and display the Date Picker then click a cell within the table and insert your date. If the Table consists of numbers you will have to change the cell format to display a date. (i may change that in the next release).

We have a number of Excel users in our office who cannot copy and paste between Excel workbooks. They can copy and paste between worksheets. When you highlight the section to copy and then go to the new workbook both the paste and paste special are 'grayed out'. This is true whether you right-click the mouse, go to the edit menu, or use control keys.
